TheCalculatorHive (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use thecalculatorhive.com and how it is used.

Information we collect

Our calculators run in your browser and via a stateless calculation API. We do not require accounts and we do not ask for personal information to use the tools. The numbers you enter are processed to return a result and may be reflected in the page URL so you can share or bookmark a calculation — they are not tied to your identity.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to understand aggregate traffic — for example which calculators are popular and roughly where visitors come from. It does not use cookies and does not collect information that identifies you personally. We also use Google Analytics 4, which does use cookies; see “Cookies and your choices” below for how that's controlled.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense. Where you have not granted consent (see below), Google still shows ads but only non-personalised ones, based on contextual signals rather than your browsing history. Where consent is granted, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more at Google’s advertising policies.

Cookies and your choices

If you are visiting from the EU/EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we ask for your cookie preference before any advertising or analytics cookie is set. Choosing “Reject” keeps Google Analytics cookieless and Google AdSense to non-personalised ads only; choosing “Accept” enables full analytics and personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer. Visitors outside these regions are not shown this banner, since opt-in consent is not legally required there; cookies are used as described above by default and can be cleared or blocked at any time in your browser settings.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. The service providers that help us run the site — our hosting and analytics providers, and our advertising partner (Google) — process data under their own privacy policies as part of providing hosting, analytics and advertising.

Third-party vendors and cookies

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or the CCPA (California) — including the right to access, correct or delete personal data, and to opt out of personalised advertising. Because we do not require accounts or collect data that identifies you directly, most of these rights are exercised through your browser (clearing cookies, adjusting the consent banner) and the Google opt-out links above. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.

Data retention

Because the calculators are stateless, we do not retain the values you enter once a result has been returned. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics are retained by our analytics provider for a limited period under their own policies. Cookies persist only until they expire or you clear them.

International visitors

The site is hosted on a global content-delivery network, which means it may be served from, and limited technical data (such as your IP address) processed in, countries other than your own. By using the site you understand that processing may occur in these locations under the safeguards of the providers named above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
